Study visit

The guests could also be convinced of the economic potential of the region during study visits. The diplomats visited, among other things, Ursus, the underground of Perła Brewery, JMP Flowers and Wyspa Wisła.

The main business profile of URSUS is the production and sale of tractors and agricultural machinery. In the branch in Lublin, apart from tractors, also Grand Tiger pick-up trucks are mounted, equipped with a double cabin, a 170 HP diesel engine and four-wheel drive, as well as buses. Ursus products combine excellent tradition with modernity and high quality.

Perła Brewery at Bernardyńska Street is a monument of Lublin’s industry – modernized former monastery and the church of the Reformed Fathers, in which beer was produced in the years 1846 – 2001. In 2014, post-production rooms were opened in the vaults of the Perła Brewery. Guests got to know the rich history of this place, events and people associated with it, and they learned about the process of production and the ingredients of beer. JMP Flowers grows over 70 varieties of roses, 70 varieties of anthurium, and above all 200 varieties of orchids. The company also manages the largest in Poland, its own wholesale trade network, which has a total of 15 representative branches, supplying the flowers of the best Polish florists with fresh flowers.
